Steve and I went on a road trip to Algonquin Park last Saturday. It took 3hrs. one way to get there. The Sugar Maple trees were almost at their peek. Not many leaves on the ground yet , as you can see from these photos.
One day is not long enough to spend in such a vast area with so much to see and do. I in no way could ever take photos that would ever do justice to such a Beautiful Wilderness as Algonquin Park. We were only there for the day, and the time went by so quickly, and it was starting to get dark in the park around 6 p.m, so we headed back home through the park , this time heading east.
I hope you enjoyed a glimpse of Autumn in the park. Here is a link if anyone is interested in finding out more.

Beautiful colors that autumn show us that it is coming, if I had to decide for a picture I possibly decide the third.
ReplyDeleteTake this opportunity to thank you for your visit to my blog, and I've put a translator, which I do not I think of it. Yet I use the browser "google chrome" that automatically you get a translator for the pages you visit are not in your language.
Nice to come back here. A greeting
That is really fall in its glory! I often think I'd love to see some of the areas east of us that have more variety in fall colors. Yellow seems to be the order of the day here and the dried out look doesn't do much for me. Wonderful places you showed today Dianne, thank you!
ReplyDeleteOh wow! This is exceptional beauty. Thank-you so much for sharing these gorgeous images. God paints with the best colours, and it looks like He spilled His paints all over this area. I love it.
ReplyDeleteThe colors in the photos are beautiful. The color in the trees here is very dull as we had little rain all summer long.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos Dianne.
ReplyDeleteSchöne Landschaft Bilder und Herbstfarben.

Thank you all so very much for your kind comments. I didn't even come close to capturing how "Spectacular" Algonquin Park really is now, and always. :) I hope you will check out the link to the park.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful Dianne I would quite easily spend a whole day there. Your shots have captured the colours wonderfully. Sorry I haven't been able to leave comments here , seems to ok but only annoymous. Have a lovely weekend. Hugs Sheila and Wile - e xx
ReplyDeleteOh my, I'd like to drive down Highway 60 myself and bask in the gorgeous autumn colors of trees lining it. Just lovely!

Hi Dianne,
ReplyDeleteYour pictures are awesome, pleased you were able to take them when you did.
Thank you for visiting me and your kind words.
I am trying tonight to rise above the challenges, which today earlier just seemed to keep growing. However I know there are many much worse off and I must count my blessings.
It is always nice to have a visit from you, or to visit your blog.
Hugs across the pond - Nita.
Thank you for your visit and kind words.
ReplyDeleteThinking about your Mom today and hope all is going well with what you have to do. . Have fun tonight out on the town.

Fantastic views, well worth the trip! Thanks for sharing the beauty! I really like your water shots too.. Have a great week Dianne.
ReplyDeleteOh I love when you take a special trip there. you really have to try and stay a few days. The scenery you capture is trul that of Autumn. I just don't get to see that kind of color around here. I may have to go for a drive soon to see and capture some nice Autumn photos. I always find every blogging Autumn photos at this time and I just don't really have it here. Well yes it is a bit and if I would be more creative I am sure I could get some. Anyway thank for these wonderful inspirations of Autumn. Have a wonderful week.
ReplyDeleteOh I guess it is true. Fall is coming. The colors are not that vivid here where I live yet. What a wonderful road trip to see the leaves of color. I did not know about this park, thanks for information. You are a joy to follow, and I appreciate you always sharing so sweetly as you do. I will check back soon.
ReplyDeleteHi Dianne,
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful trip! Mizzy Lake and the Bogs looks like an amazing place to visit. I too, always feel like my photos of the fall colors aren't nearly as pretty as in person. We are just starting to see the colors change...our weather has been perfect this week. Our son gets married this weekend and after that we hope to get away to see some fall colors and relive the joy of the weekend as we drive. I'm glad I was one of the last to comment so that I could see your sidebar photos...the mother son dance and little Hope's face...priceless!
What fabulous autumn colours - way better than anything we have here. I have enjoyed seeing your family photos on the side bar too. Happy times. Congratulations.

Beautiful Autumn colours, I love this season. here wew still have some leaves on the trees, and I saw a few violets popping up in Sandwich yesterday, we have had very mild weather here, the poor plants are getting confused!
