Times Are Changing

IMG_4410 Leaves

Like An Old Photograph

Times are changing

As leaves are falling to the ground.

A Tapestry in the making

Red and yellow,

orange and bronze

A blanket covers the grass

Summer is gone

Fall will soon pass

There is a chill in the air

As the wind blows

Times are changing

We can fight it

We can grin and bare it

We can accept it

We can embrace it

or some may even run from it

No matter what we do

We can't control it

Times are changing

What will be will be

Nature will take its course

For in everything

There is a Season.

Every Season Is Beautiful in it’s own way.

I hope to find you all well, and enjoying life.

I know life has it’s problems, difficulties  and  challenges galore. Take heart. Your not alone. We need each other, and together we can make a difference. We were never met to go it alone.

Sorrow looks back.

Worry looks around.

“But”

Faith looks up.

True Faith and Courage

are like a kite -

an opposing wind

raises it higher.

……

But they that wait upon the Lord

shall renew their strength;

they shall mount up with wings as eagles,

they shall run and not be weary;

and they shall walk and not faint.

Isaiah 40:31

If you are going through a hard time, may this encourage you.

and …

If not, may you encourage someone who is.

I thank the Lord for family, and friends, and I thank the Lord that He is their at the mention of His Name.

Take care and God Bless you.

ox Dianne :)

  9. Dianne,
Such talent here, the photographs, your words. We have had a beautiful fall and I thank God for the season. We had a pretty rough summer in our fields this year...a combination of things I guess and worry has been a constant companion. But I thank God for His faithfulness and for blog friends who remind me, when the snow is flying outside my window, that God is in control. looking up in faith!

  11. There is something very comforting about that statement about not being able to control it and what will be will be.

  14. I SO like your own poem at the beginning Dianne. That was inspired and completely true. No better way of looking at things either. We all of us could use a reminder too that we can't control it..we may as well embrace the times we are in and the changing happening every second..wether we like it or not.

Gorgeous photos but they always are.

  17. Yes timea are changing. Your words are so touching and the photos such a reminder of the colors that are long gone here. I loooove the cabin in the woods. I am finding less and less time to spend here in blog land. My energy some how rises in the winter so I am on the go all day but then come night I am finished. It's a good tired feeling. So many photo ideas for autumn blogs but autumn has past and the snow is here. Have a wonderful weekend. Hugs Carrie

  19. Thank You Carole.

And Lisa it is always good to see you. We don't have any snow here yet. The temperature has been hovering between 6c to 13degrees Celsius for the last couple of weeks, and just dipping below 0 during the nights. I am not in any hurry for the snow.
Yippers , I am still getting use to my new lens and havn't been able to get out as much as I would like too.
You take care Lisa and thanks. Many hugs to you my friend.

Carrie thank you and I do appreciate you and all my Blogger friends who drop by from time to time. I know we all get busy, and Christmas is just around the corner.

Hope to find you all well and have a wonderful week ahead. xx's to all. Dianne :)
