The God Of Creation

15 Christ is the visible image of the invisible God. He existed before God made anything at all and is supreme over all creation. 16 Christ is the one through whom God created everything in heaven and earth. He made the things we can see and the things we can't see -- kings, kingdoms, rulers, and authorities. Everything has been created through him and for him. 17 He existed before everything else began, and he holds all creation together. 18 Christ is the head of the church, which is his body. He is the first of all who will rise from the dead, so he is first in everything. 19 For God in all his fullness was pleased to live in Christ, 20 and by him God reconciled everything to himself. He made peace with everything in heaven and on earth by means of his blood on the cross. Colossians 1:15-20

Eyes To See

A few years ago I prayed that the Lord would give me an eye to see the things around me, really see and look beyond the obvious and not take things for granted that I see everyday. To be able to enjoy the simple things of life. I believe it is He who has given me the passion for photography, to capture a glimpse of His Creation and that has strengthened my Faith because , Not only am I in "Awe" of what I see but in that He cares enough for me to take the time to show me and often times it is as if He is walking by my side as I feel His Presence so real. God loves His Creation and I know He loves you and I. He is not a God far away but He is there at the mention of His Name. For those who earnestly seek Him, He will be found. I see miracles of life every day as I look at the things around me. How can anyone say, there is not "One Almighty God"?

Attitude

There once was a woman who woke up one morning, looked in the mirror,and noticed she had only three hairs on her head.'Well,' she said, 'I think I'll braid my hair today.'So she did and she had a wonderful day.The next day she woke up, looked in the mirror and saw that she had only two hairs on her head.'H-M-M,' she said, 'I think I'll part my hair down the middle today.'So she did and she had a grand day.The next day she woke up, looked in the mirror and noticed that she had only one hair on her head.'Well,' she said, 'today I'm going to wear my hair in apony tail.'So she did, and she had a fun, fun day.The next day she woke up, looked in the mirrorand noticed that there wasn't a single hair on her head.'YAY!' she exclaimed. 'I don't have to fix my hair today!'

Attitude is everything.Be kinder than necessary,for everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle.Live simply,Love generously,Care deeply,Speak kindly,and pray continually.Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass...
It's about learning to dance in the rain.

Only A Tiny Rosebud

It is only a tiny rosebud,
A flower of God’s design;
But I cannot unfold the petals
With these clumsy hands of mine.

The secret of unfolding flowers
Is not known to such as I.
GOD opens this flower so sweetly,
When in my hands they fade and die.

If I cannot unfold a rosebud,
This flower of God’s design,
Then how can I think I have wisdom
To unfold this life of mine?

So I’ll trust in Him for His leading
Each moment of every day.
I will look to him for His guidance
Each step of the pilgrim way.

The pathway that lies before me,
Only my Heavenly Father knows.
I’ll trust Him to unfold the moments,
Just as He unfolds the rose.
