There was a Hairy Woodpecker checking out the menu.

She liked what she saw and decided to stay for lunch.

This strange fellow looked at the menu up-side down.

What a Nut! Turns out that’s his name, Mr. Nuthatch.

Miss Cardinal had a sparkle in her eye as she watched

the handsome fellow not far off in the distance. What’s a story without a little romance?

I hope you enjoyed your time at the Bird Feeder Cafe.

I no, I no, maybe I have been working too hard. It has been awhile since I posted. How the time fly’s. This is my first post of the New Year. These are a few of the pictures I took at my clients home. I took these pictures on Boxing Day, the same day I took the photos of the squirrels. I have an open invite to go take photos anytime I like.

I have been busier than busy, as I have been working full time hours as usual, plus getting our house ready to put on the market in a couple of weeks. We are hoping to sell our house and downsize to a townhouse condo. I appreciate your prayers for everything to fall into place. What will be will be. It is in God’s hands. We will do our part , and then leave the rest to the Lord, our God. I wont deny it is stressful, and tiring at times just getting everything done. Cleaning, sorting, decluttering , and all that stuff. So that is what I have been up to these days. Hope you are all doing well.

Sincerely, Dianne :)

  4. Hi Dianne lovely to see you your photo shots are great, I just love watching birds at the feeding table. The Nuthatch frequents my nut basket , see how the beak is thin this is to take out the nut whole. I do hope the house selling goes well for you this year , it is indeed hard work preparing for this.Hope you find time to rest up at the weekend Hugs Sheilax

  5. Well, I figure if you're going to start the New Year do it with gusto! You sure did that! I love bird photos and respect the patience it can sometimes take to get them. You guys are going to move? I do pray that it all comes together just as you need it to. God bless you Dianne.

  6. What an adorable post! Dianne, I have never seen a tube feeder with holes quite like that one. What did you fill it with? I'm going to go to our local wild bird shop and see if I can find one like that. It looks so efficient!
As for your cleaning out, decluttering, packing and moving, I don't envy you a bit. But I will leave you with an invitation to come to my house and declutter. You game? XOXOXO

  9. Dianne, your bird photos are just stunning. I so love the red cardinal. Hope all your dreams come true for selling you home. Keep thinking and praying and it will happen. I will be heading south in a couple days. I really hate leaving this beautiful white stuff that has surrounded me here, but hubby is getting tired of shoveling. I haven't been able to help with that for a few weeks now. Hugs Carrie
