Be Still and Know that I am God

  1. Hi Dianne, good message here. I haven't heard of this organazation before so I looked through their site and saved it. Looks very good. I ran the little bookstore at our church for 12 years, but right now I'm taking a break from working in any kind ministry. I really like the work of the Gideon's, since reading their Bibles is how I became a Christian.
I hope you have a nice weekend!
    Gerry :)

  5. Oh my goodness, Thank you each and everyone. I am still trying to figure things out here and it will take some time with my work schedule, and other committments. Life is good and I love, love, love the quiet times. At times I am overwhelmed and just need to be still.

Gerry it was because of your testimony on your blog on spaces that I add a link to the Gideons on my WLS. Praise the Lord , that you and many others have come to know the Lord , through a Gideon Bible placed in a hotel room or where ever.
Toodie it is so good to see you here. Nita, Joe, Gerry and Toodie, have a wonderful weekend and take some time to be still. Now I have to take my own advice. :)
    Hugs and Smiles

  7. What Joe said! Great to see you here Dianne and I have a little something you might find helpful.

While this page looks great, there are always tips and tricks. Tecgnogran is very technical but likes to post tutorials, written in plain English, for those of us who aren't as savvy. Currently she is writing a series of Blogger tutorials and I know she'll be glad to answer any questions you may have. Here's the url for her page:

  8. My last and best supervisor was a Gideon, is a Gideon I should say. I had no idea what they were until he told me. He is, as am I, a Baptist but he does an enormous lot of work on behalf of the Gideons. His wife too in her women's jail ministry.

  12. Wonderful words to share. One truely needs to be still during moments in the day to feel God all around them. Enjoyed many of your past posts on the geese and swans. Just amazing photos and stories to go along. Hugs Carrie
